What can I say its a USB 4-port hub. I got it in less than 5 business days brand-new and its packaging. the only thing I did not like is that it didn't come with the cable for you to hook it up to a wall outlet. other than that, so far, pleased with this item and the service.
I have my wireless keyboard, wireless audio, infrared receiver, and webcam plugged into this thing. A 4-port hub shouldn't be used for charging four devices anyway, unless you have a 5v adapter for the hub. If all the reviews say you can't get a power adapter, then treat it like any other unpowered hub. Works fine. The ports are spaced a little close, but otherwise works just like it should.
Although small and seemingly handy, the hub is worthless. With power divided by four, and no AC power adapter available (never made), it won't support more than a mouse and maybe a keyboard. Files can not be transferred from external drives via USB. ERROR ERROR ERROR Buy a powered hub instead.
This couldn't be easier to use, or more appropos. Small; takes up very little work space. Plug it into any USB port, and you now have 4 USB ports. Compatible with my Mac Pro.The green lights indicating that what is plugged in is working, is an outstanding feature.I love this product.
I just had to connect the USB wire then connect it to my HP Laptop (Windows Vista Home Premium) and I was ready to go. On Black Friday, I purchased the Logitech after conducting research and reading reviews on several similar products. I was meaning to find a replacement for a Belkin USB Hub which was larger in size and taking up too much space during usage. After a month of use, I only plugged in ONLY two USB Thumb Drives, a Sandisk Cruzer Contour 16 GB and a Lexar Jump Drive 1 GB, at the same time. When the Hub came, it was great to see it fit in the palm of my hand. Set up was done within seconds. I have had no problems so far. I don't intend to plug in the more energy intensive products so the Logitech Hub fits my needs perfectly.
